In 2023, Best of the 207 had over 145,000 consumer votes to determine the gold, silver, and bronze winners across more than 250 business categories! Portland Radio Group is once again presenting Best of the 207 to actively involve the community in honoring the cherished locations, restaurants, and local businesses we hold dear.

Best of the 207 Promotion

Best of the 207 has strong support from all eight Portland Radio Group stations. Nominations and voting are driven by recorded promotional commercials and live support on all eight stations.

Additional paid and organic social media promotion accompanies the on-air promotion. Promotion begins prior to nominations and goes through the big reveal of the 2023 winners.

Promotion of the nominating and voting processes will reach 75% of Greater Portland’s Metro population – your customers and prospects – and each will hear about the “Best of the 207” competition an average of 15 times!* It will continue to be the biggest “Best of” promotion in Southern Maine history.
